CHIMNEY ACCUMULATION

Accumulating fireplaces are modern heating solutions that combine the aesthetics of traditional fireplaces with high efficiency and ecology. These are devices designed to not only generate heat during wood burning, but also effectively store it and gradually release it into the room for many hours after the fire has gone out.

The main feature is the ability to store heat in special accumulating materials, such as fireclay, soapstone or accumulating concretes.

Thanks to this, the fireplace can release heat for 8-24 hours, which reduces the need for frequent adding of wood.

In this type of installation, we can use various systems that in both cases are encased in a warm accumulating plate closing the internal chamber.:

1. Additional accumulating mass next to the fireplace (chimney accumulation)
2. Additional accumulating mass on the fireplace insert (spiral accumulation) (accumulating slings)

System 1
IGNITION FLAP

The ignition flap provides a shortcut on the exhaust gas path towards the chimney

When the stove heats up and the right draft is created in the chimney, the flap is closed and the gases then travel a long route through the additional heating surface. The ignition flaps can be switched manually or automatically by a small electric motor.

System 2
BAYPASS

Cold smoke automatically travels through a bypassof 30 or 40 mm diameterusing a short ignition path

After heating the exhaust gases to the appropriate temperatures, the vacuum forces a long circulation
